The jazz-rock/fusion band Seraph has been active since 1994. The group originally started in 1993 as the house band for a TV talk show called Live-Lijn, which was broadcast at the time by the Evangelical Broadcasting Organization (EO).

In 1996, their debut album, Tales of the Unexpected, was released, featuring guest performances by saxophonist Tom Beek.

Their second album, Proskuneo, followed in 2005. This album contains 12 well-known Christmas hymns, reimagined in jazz-rock/fusion arrangements with Seraph's distinctive sound.

In 2013, Seraph released their third album, Behind the Scenes, featuring 10 original compositions.

Their fourth album, Déjà Vu, came out in 2021. This live album was recorded during a concert tour in 2019 and includes 10 new original tracks. The album was mixed by Grammy Award-winning mix engineer and producer Rich Breen, who has worked with renowned jazz and fusion artists and bands such as Pat Metheny, The Yellowjackets, and Steve Gadd.
